About Us

Kohlberg Ventures invests in early stage
digital media, consumer product and
cleantech companies.

We look for focused, decisive, energetic entrepreneurs with a crisp understanding of customer dynamics – what customers want, why they want it, and how they’ll pay for it. If you’ve defined a real business with a clear path to revenue and profitability, we’d like to talk to you.

Kohlberg Ventures draws on over twenty years experience of bringing patient capital to compelling business opportunities. Since we’re investing our own capital, we’re equipped to remain active in all market cycles – to take risks in up markets, and to double-down in tighter times. We provide ongoing support with strategic guidance, supplemental talent and an extensive network of domain experts. We recognize that few ventures grow as originally planned, and we’re proud of our record in helping entrepreneurs navigate the tactical shifts necessary to thrive.
